🚨Exciting College Golf Opportunity: Pfeiffer University is looking for 8 Men and 6 Women to add to their golf programs for 2022-23.

Coach Chris Jones was hired in September to build a great team. Coach Jones has more than 15 years of golf experience. Their golf team is part of the USA South Athletic Conference, which is probably the best D3 conference in the country. ⛳

Pfeiffer University is a private, Christian university located in Misenheimer, North Carolina, with campuses also in Charlotte and Albemarle.🌴 It is a small institution with an enrollment of 837 undergraduate students. Popular majors include Business, Criminal Justice and Safety Studies, Elementary Education, Biology, Nursing and Sports Management.

At Pfeiffer, there also are numerous achievement-based scholarships, students can get up to $20,000 per year based on their GPA. Right now the school is test-optional.

The NCCGA (National Collegiate Club Golf Association) is the governing body for club golf.

Club golf is:

• Nationally recognized (over 400 colleges have club golf teams)
• Co-ed (men and women play on the same team)
• Competitive, but fun (scores range from 65-105)
• An outlet for possible walk-ons (varsity coaches pay attention to club golf tournament scores)
• Flexible - 2-3 weekend tournaments per semester. Students can focus on school and get involved in many clubs/activities.

The season begins on September 11th! Even if your college doesn't have a club golf team, you can still participate as an individual in any tournament. We are saddened to hear about the cutting of university sports teams. Golf teams at Dartmouth and Brown University were also cut in 2020 in addition to the University of Akron. 🚨 St. Andrews University in North Carolina is recruiting to fill spots on their Men's and Women's Golf teams. Specifically needing to add 1-2 women for 2021 fall.

St. Andrews University is in the largest NAIA conference and offers athletic scholarships. Head Coach Phil measures 3 main factors: academics, the person, and golf skills. ⛳

The teams have on-campus practice areas for short and long game, and play at 3 home golf courses. The golfers travel to compete in Florida and Ohio.
